Yellow Detective POV:

As the smokescreen with physical force created by Watson was fading, an anomaly occurred.

That change was initiated by Watson.

[The 'Eye' has come.] 

['Eye'? What's happening?]

[I don't like the 'Eye'. I'm Scared.]

After uttering a few phrases, Watson extinguished itself.

Tak tak tak~

The sound of tiny footsteps could be heard.

And golden eyes that pierced through the darkness were visible.

Deep within the vacant lot, numerous golden eyes shone in the darkness.

The gray Reaper appeared, leading a horde of golden Reapers hopping around on the ground.

The gray Reaper was looking around the vacant lot with an indifferent expression, seeming uninterested in what was currently happening there.

However, the golden Reapers reacted quite differently, exuding intense anger towards the director and researchers. 

Seeing this, the director urgently gave an order in a frantic voice,

"Researchers, buy me some time!"

The golden Reapers charged with ferocious expressions almost simultaneously as the director ordered the researchers.

After commanding the researchers, the director hurriedly started running towards the client's younger brother.

As he rushed, a familiar object caught my eye in his hand.

The cane!

It seemed the director intended to escape with the client's younger brother using the cane I had given.

Seeing this, I gestured to Junior #1.

"Go and stop them quickly!"

Junior #1 gripped the hammer tightly and dashed out at full speed upon seeing this.

Running at full power, Junior rapidly pursued the director.

But alas, too far away!

"Hahaha!"

The director laughed heartily seeing the golden Reaper and Junior #1 coming after him.

Then, placing a hand on the younger brother's body with a smug expression, he struck the cane into the ground.

Reaper (MC) POV:

I arrived at the vacant lot where the ghost cat had been wailing.

What I saw were the director and researchers.

And the detective group and the ghost cat.

The director I saw after a long time had become a completely different being.

Just looking at him made it feel suffocating - the malice towards humans. 

Wasn't he conducting research for the benefit of humans?

The always relaxed atmosphere the director had was now replaced by irritability.

To that extent, shouldn't I consider him a different person just looks similar?

As the golden Reaper charged at him, the director started fleeing somewhere.

Then I saw a familiar object.

The cane the detective always carried.

Perhaps that was the object that allowed teleportation?

The moment I saw the cane, I charged at the director using ghostification.

I couldn't let such a harmful object escape.

"Hahaha!"

And with a refreshing laugh, I cut off the director's right hand that was striking the cane into the ground.

"Aaaaaargh!"

I confirmed the destruction condition of the Research Institute director clutching his severed right hand and staggering back.

[Fulfill the wish.]

Another overly difficult condition.

Still, I think this Object is too harmful to humans to ignore.

While I was pondering, the golden Reapers mercilessly pierced through the fleeing, panting director.

The director, with holes all over his body like being hit by a large-caliber rifle, collapsed on the ground bleeding profusely.

"I... I did it for humanity!"

For an object filled with malice towards humanity to claim it was for humanity's sake is laughable.

The golden Reapers surrounded the bleeding, dying director and glared at him.

It looked like they were declaring, 'Even if you're revived, I'll kill you!'

Well, to the extremely human-loving golden Reapers, the director must have felt like their archenemy.

Yellow Detective POV:

The director died.

What he left behind were two objects.

A mysteriously glowing sphere and the cane I had given him.

I knew the director had other objects too, but they weren't here.

The gray Reaper didn't seem interested in the objects the director left behind.

I hung the cane on my waist and checked the ability of the mysterious sphere with my monocle.

[Heals surrounding humans.]

It was an object with an incredibly powerful ability.

A healing ability seemed so beneficial to humans that I was worried about side effects.

The fight between the researchers and golden Reapers was almost over too.

It could hardly be called a fight, more like a one-sided massacre.

Once the battle ended, most of the golden Reapers that had filled the vacant lot had disappeared.

Some of the remaining golden Reapers were clinging to the client's younger brother's body.

The golden Reapers were crying profusely, as if they had never seen a living person before.

I didn't know the reason, but they seemed extremely relieved.

Once again, I received the gray Reaper's help.

At this point, shouldn't it be called the gray guardian instead of the gray Reaper?

At least to me, it was clearly the goddess of fortune.

My goddess with an indifferent expression, looking around.

And Junior #1 rushed towards that goddess.

"Wow, Reaper!"

Once she confirmed the director had collapsed, Junior #1 immediately ran to the gray Reaper.

She hugged it tightly and rubbed her cheek against it affectionately.

"Long time no see!"

Junior was showing the gray Reaper even more enthusiasm than before.

Wasn't she scared at all?

Even I, who rationally judges it beneficial, am wary of it.

Couldn't the gray Reaper suddenly get annoyed and blow a person's head off?

The client wanted to run to her younger brother but hesitated because of the gray Reaper and its golden Reapers subordinate.

That's the normal reaction of being scared, I suppose.

Then what about Junior #2?

"Wow, wowow, wow! So soft! Squishyyyy!"

Junior #2 was happily holding two golden Reapers, one in each hand.

This side is not normal either.

To relieve my headache, I lit my pipe.

Reaper (MC) POV:

The harmful director and researchers had all become holey donuts thanks to the golden Reapers.

But since they didn't meet their destruction conditions, they'll likely revive soon.

However, judging by the golden Reapers' current mood, they seemed ready to kill them again immediately after revival.

"Wow, Reaper! Long time no see!"

The Junior clung to me as soon as the director disappeared.

"Thank you for coming to save me!"

The clinging Junior rubbed my arms and legs and cheeks, expressing affection as if we hadn't met for 10 years.

She didn't seem to do this before, did she get too stressed from fighting the director?

Junior kept clinging to me nonstop, and it didn't seem to end.

When I gently bit the hand poking my cheek to make her stop, she liked it even more.

"Ah, the Reaper bit me!"

Why, does she like it more?

After shaking off Junior with ghostification, I found the cause that led me here.

Meow.

A ghost cat with a hoarse voice slowly walked towards me.

It was a little funny that its voice was hoarse from yowling so loudly.

'Was it fun? Wasn't it dangerous?'

The cat cradled in my arms puffed out its chest and started boasting.

'What? Not dangerous at all? You just called because you thought I'd be bored?'

It was the usual boastful ghost cat.

The cat started rambling about the adventures it experienced this time.

The ruins of hellfire that rose from the abyss and the fire-breathing demon frogs, and the giant frog as big as a house that was their leader.

No matter how well the cat embellished the story, it became an entirely different amusing tale even for me who knew what happened.

'Yeah, yeah. Great job.'

I cradled the cat and stroked it thoroughly. 

As I stroked the cute cat, Junior's piercing gaze felt scorching hot.

She was looking with such an envious expression, so I took Junior's hand and led her to sit on the floor.

Then I plopped down into Junior's lap and placed her hand on top of my head. 

If she envies it so much, Junior can just stroke me too.

Leaning against Junior, I fully enjoyed being stroked.

Strangely, Junior's breathing sounded rough as she stroked my head, but it should be fine, right?

Late at night, Sehee Research Institute.

I was organizing photos of Reaper in the lounge.

<Reaper asleep in the isolation room after the Central Research Institute incident.>

<Reaper captured on the security camera when the Yellow Detective visited.>

<Golden Reaper enjoying a delicious cake.>

<Reaper grabbing one leg of the blue lizard playing piano, lifting it to disrupt the piano playing.>

<Reaper happily riding a three-wheeled bike.> 

<Reaper pressing its face against the isolation room glass containing Skull Spider, staring intently.>

There were many other photos captured from security cameras too.

But the best photo is definitely this one.

The photo of Reaper grabbing one leg of the blue lizard playing piano, lifting it to disrupt the piano playing that Sehee sent me. A photo that doubled Reaper's cuteness.

Hehe~

Looking at the various Reaper photos, I really missed the real Reaper.

There are golden Reapers, but I miss the original Reaper.

"It's late..."

But for some reason, I had a baseless premonition that I would be able to see Reaper tomorrow.

I really hope so.
