The Invincible Holy Spirit is Definitely Not a Newbie

Chapter 11: 11

Is she called... Yu'er?

Although Shi Liuli felt that it was inappropriate to let the other party go like this, it was her freedom after all. Besides, it seemed like she had an urgent matter, and she couldn't force them to stay, right?

"Well, be careful and don't bump into people again, okay?"

She could only pray for the little girl's safety.

"Thank you, thank you!" Yu'er was a bit surprised by Shi Liuli's kindness, but her sister was still waiting for the medicine to save her life! After expressing her gratitude, she hurriedly ran off.

Did she really listen...?

Shi Liuli was worried that Yu'er running so fast might bump into someone again, but she couldn't worry about that. She still remembered that she was still 'on her own'!

Ah, she would have to sit alone in the wilderness until dawn. Maybe a carnivorous animal would emerge from somewhere and her fate as a poor weak girl (?) would be in jeopardy.

The above was purely Shi Liuli's imagination. If a carnivorous animal really emerged and targeted her, it would be in jeopardy, and it would also take care of her hunger.

As for why she didn't find a corner in the city, it was because the places in the city where she could sit safely until dawn were either dark and damp or filled with foul odors. Shi Liuli would never subject herself to such conditions. Even if she died in the wilderness, she wouldn't sit in such a place!

Before long, the city gate appeared in front of her. However, at this moment, a building beside the city gate caught her attention—

A three-story, expansive flat-topped building, with lights on the second floor that emitted colorful lights, contrasting with the bright yellow lights on the street. There were blue, purple, yellow, white, and other colors, flashing alternately—it was not ordinary.

"Bang!"

The window shattered, and shards of glass scattered on the street in front of the building. Fortunately, there was no one on the street—more precisely, there was no one on this street, and no one was injured because of it.

The people around seemed accustomed to it, not surprised at all. They just glanced and sighed,

"Oh, it exploded again!"

"It just can't stop, huh?"

"Mom, look, it exploded there again!"

There were various reactions, but it was apparent that they had become accustomed to such scenes.

Hey, is there no problem with this?

Has the city just accepted the existence of this "dangerous building"? What is the regulatory authority doing?

After the window shattered, the colorful lights disappeared, followed by a burst of swearing, sounding like more than one person.

Shi Liuli's curiosity was completely aroused, and she wanted to know what kind of building this was.

As she approached, Shi Liuli could feel astonished gazes directed at her, as if they couldn't understand why someone would foolishly approach.

When she reached the entrance gate, she even saw a plaque—this plaque was pitch-black, and the words on it were barely discernible—Mage Association, four large characters.

Shi Liuli's question of "why the city allows the existence of this building" was instantly answered. Based on her brief contact with the mortal realm, it seemed that mages held a respectable position in the Eastern Continent and had formed numerous organizations. Among them, the "Mage Association" was the most authoritative and powerful, almost equivalent to the Adventurers Guild.

Perhaps she could try her luck here?

This idea emerged in Shi Liuli's mind.

A bit sad that she didn't immediately help the fox girl, but from how it is written it is understandable and I am sure they are going to get the help they need in due time.

Also thanks for the chapters.
