The Invincible Holy Spirit is Definitely Not a Newbie

Chapter 28: 28

Cui'er seemed like she wanted to say something. At this moment, Shi Liuli, who had been silent on the side, couldn't hold back any longer. When will it be her turn to take the stage?

She quickly stepped forward and placed her hand on Cui'er's left chest, calming down to feel her heartbeat.

There is something wrong with the frequency!

Shi Liuli furrowed her brows slightly, but without showing any signs, she placed her hand on Cui'er's pulse again.

The heartbeat and pulse rates don't match! The heartbeat is clearly too fast, and the pulse can't keep up—no, the pulse is slowing down.

Why is that?

Shi Liuli felt a slight headache.

Forget it, there's no time to worry about that now. I'll just forcefully treat her!

Yu'er was startled when Shi Liuli rushed over, but Cui'er was fine. She had already sensed someone else's presence, but when Shi Liuli placed her hand on her body, she froze, unsure of what Shi Liuli was going to do.

"Sister, Shi Liuli, do you have a way to save Cui'er?"

Yu'er remembered how Shi Liuli had saved her from danger before and quickly returned home. Maybe Shi Liuli had the ability to save her sister?

"Mm."

Just a "mm," but it made Yu'er burst into tears of joy. She was about to make room for Shi Liuli--

"Ah, Yu'er, stay here too. You need treatment as well."

Huh?

Before Yu'er could understand the meaning, she suddenly felt a warmth in her body, as if being bathed in sunlight, but much more comfortable. Even the previously slightly painful wounds no longer hurt, and her once pitch-black eyes now had a glimmer of light--

It was a beautiful golden glow, accompanied by a faint platinum mist, as if it could penetrate into the depths of her heart, dispelling the accumulated coldness she had felt for many years. It was so magnificent and sacred.

Huh?

Cui'er's reaction was similar to Yu'er's. She only saw Shi Liuli's left eye radiating a bright light, and under the illumination of the golden light and the enveloping mist, she could clearly feel her previously weak body rapidly recovering. However, she had an additional, indescribable sensation, which seemed to be related to her eyes.

Her eyes felt itchy.

Only Shi Liuli noticed that Cui'er's eyes, although not particularly eye-catching under the golden light, were exceptionally bright, resonating with her own pair of Liuli eyes, emitting a mysterious brilliance.

...What is this?

Shi Liuli wasn't quite sure either.

Shaking her head, she forced herself not to focus on this detail and instead concentrate on the treatment at hand.

As Cui'er's condition gradually improved, Shi Liuli once again placed her left hand on Cui'er's heart and her right hand on her pulse. The heartbeat and pulse had returned to normal frequency and matched each other.

She breathed a sigh of relief and slowly retracted the golden light in her left eye. The golden glow that had filled the entire room vanished, leaving only some lingering platinum mist in the air, proof of what had just happened.

Patting her chest, Shi Liuli was relieved that her methods had worked. She was afraid of how she would explain herself to Yu'er if her methods hadn't been effective because she didn't know what was wrong with Cui'er, and she wasn't very confident in her treatment.

She had never seen such strange symptoms before, perhaps they were related to her eyes, or even if they weren't, there was definitely some connection!

Fortunately, her Holy Spirit energy was still effective.

"It's all right now!"

Upon hearing these words, Yu'er, who had been in a daze, rushed forward and hugged her sister Cui'er, unable to hold back her tears.

Cui'er also supported her body and hugged her sister back, gently patting Yu'er's back and saying something to comfort her.

Who is the real sister?

Shi Liuli couldn't help but laugh in her heart, but seeing the heartwarming scene between the two sisters, it was clearly not the right time to intervene.

I'll leave this time to you!

Shi Liuli quietly turned around and left the room, but she didn't leave immediately. Instead, she waited outside the door, silently waiting for the warmth between the two sisters to pass.

——She still had something left to do.

No, she had made a decision.
