Author note:I am new to writing novels and this will be my first novel. I wrote it without a plan and just a idea for it. So don't expect much, but do give me some ideas(I won't really deviate from my original idea that much) I think. Also don't expect the release schedule to be consistent. It wont.i am also probably not going to publish anything the next week.

But if you can't, in simple terms it means that someone wasn't in their right mind when driving thier truck and it so happened that the world decided to make me the victim of that someone's actions. Thus,I got hit by the truck at who knows what speed therefore leading to a unalived dead body lying beside the traffic lights

...yes, I am a law abiding citizen that doesn't Jay walk for your information nor am I brave enough that I would save a child in the middle of the road from a incoming truck like in those novels

Alright, enough with reconciling what happened just now and move on. Let bygones be bygones(but it's not like I would actually stay true to my own words)

My consciousness refuted my words meant to calm myself down

Suddenly I found myself in a lobby like room. 

The first thing that caught my eye was a giant rough crystal glowing in the middle of the room.its rough texture emphasised the natural beauty of the crystal, the light it gave off an aura that captivated me(How magnificent, i wonder how it was transported here. Wait, can a natural crystal be that big? That beauty is like 3/4 the height of this room.damn

Hmm. Is this the afterlife?(Here I was hoping that I would get Isekaied)

I got up from the hexagon shaped platform I was sitting on

my heart started beating faster as I stood up and looked at my hand like what I always saw in shows

I looked around and accessed my surroundings. It was clearly neither my house nor anything even close to a hospital of sorts. A giant crystal structure, a giant door to my side with fantasy like engravings and designs all over it. A rack with weapons arranged along it. Finally, the hexagon shaped platform with engravings that looked like a magic circle.

A open scroll in blue light appeared in front of me (cool)

Welcome to the tower, lost soul. You are currently in the rest area of the tower otherwise known as floor 0. Food and water are provided along with weapons which we do encourage for you to try before venturing out. The crystal will allow you to return to floors you have been to next to the crystal of the respective floors and the giant door will transport you to the next floor that you haven't been to and the clock will keep track of the time you stay in floor 0. The tower consists of 100 floors. If you make it to floor 100, you can grant a wish of your. Of course! You will have to overcome the obstacles we have in place for you on your journey. Each floor is connected to other worlds with different timeframes.Strive to climb the tower to fulfil your life long wish. Above all else, have fun. 

The door will open at 0900 and close at 0000

As I read the scroll my heart thumped with anticipation.it didn't seem to be a one of those towers shown in novels where they were fighting for their lives every day to climb the tower. In fact, the writer of the scroll seemed quite friendly.

I hurriedly rushed to the giant door without hesitation without fully reading scroll. As I approached it, I took a deep breath and pushed the two parts of the door.

(Did I actually just think that I could push open such a huge door with my strength?)

The door didn't budge, not even a little. 

Pondering I looked at the scroll again.

(The door will open at 0900 and close at 0000)

(If there were people around me I would be dying from embarrassment)

Feeling disappointed I decided to roam and explore floor 0

I looked at the round clock on the wall behind the hexagon platform I woke up on.

(I should plan to at least have 8 hours of sleep to prepare for tomorrow)

Hmm. I looked at the hands of the clock which showed 2200(I have about 3 hours left huh)

I walked around the size of a hotel lobby. The some difference would be the fantasy structures, the absence of windows and fancy furniture (maybe the crystal can be considered fancy though)

I then found a water dispenser. It looked like the one you would find in a park. Looking around me, only this felt out of place(what happened to office water dispensers? or maybe even a normal restroom with walls and a basin? Why so plain and inconvenient??)

Next to the water dispenser, I found the restroom withch was just a plain cubical.

Seriously?

Sigh. Gosh they need to do maintenance to this place.

As if hearing my complaint, I heard a flick of a switch

Click. The ceiling lights were turned off leaving the crystal being the only light source in the room. Shining ethereal light on me. My disappointment was slowly fading away at the sight of the light.

As if attracted to the light I walked towards crystal yet again.

As I slowly walked around the base of the structure holding the crystal from the top and bottom. I realised. Hol up, wait a minute. Is it floating?

As I circled around the structure at a Increasingly fast pace, I ascertained myself that it was indeed floating and was not attached to anything.(I highly doubt that strings could hold up a crystal that big. Maybe metal wires or glass, but that would have reflected enough light for me to see it. It's not like the crystal was emitting a bright light that would reder me unable to see it) 

I looked at the crystal structure with fascination. Something that hasn't happened in years. It was like a breath of fresh air from the modern landscape that I saw everyday in the past.

It felt relaxing looking at it. The feeling I got is similar to what I experienced when lying down under the shade of a tree.

That tranquil feeling that I had experienced when I was young. Not exactly free of worries since I still had homework and exams from school, but what was different was probably how I had the confidence and curiosity to try various things. Experimenting and exploring the world around me, everything felt new and fun.

Compared to the older me now, though only by a few years. It feels completely different from before. Those around me just say that it's puberty.(What a convenient phrase). 

Although I do realise that I may still be immature and young. I still feel dull everyday. My expression contorted into a slight frown.

Sigh..

I looked at the crystal. It's warm light seemed to embrace me and comfort me, lulling me.

Yawn

I then fell asleep on the cool tile floor. 

That was the end of the first day
