Chapter 32: Just Say It's a Robbery Next Time
The Clerk glanced at Wang Wenxuan as if he were looking at a lunatic, then turned and walked away.
Behind him, a playful voice rang out.
"Based on what you just said..."
"Aren't I just stubbornly clinging to life with only my head left?"
"Really a case of the tiger's head and brain."
"Quite an apt description."
He clicked his tongue in amazement.
Wang Wenxuan's body instantly stiffened, and he shakily turned around to face the towering giant behind him. With a forced, awkward smile, he managed, "Boss... What a coincidence..."
The response was a cold sneer, "I wonder if you've been slacking off in your training these past few days. Shall we step outside for a chat?"
"Boss!"
"I think you shouldn't be like this. In my eyes, you've always been a very... intelligent person."
"As opposed to your physical strength, I admire your wisdom more."
"Capable of... capable of..."
Wang Wenxuan had just begun to speak when he stopped abruptly, sweating profusely.
Yu Sheng thoughtfully paused for two seconds, then helpfully added, "Capable of sending one's head a thousand miles away?"
...
The atmosphere seemed to drop to a freezing point.
Seeing his boss's expression grow colder and sensing the looming threat, Wang Wenxuan quickly said, "Boss, hear me out!"
"There's nothing in this world that can't be explained!"
With that, he grabbed his boss's thick arm and tried to pull him aside.
But nothing moved.
With dark skin and a face full of stern features, the boss looked at him with a puzzled expression. Wang Wenxuan met his gaze innocently.
He tugged again, still no movement.
And then again...
"Are you sick or something?"
The boss finally spoke up.
...
"Boss, have you ever considered the possibility that I just wanted to have a private word with you?"
Wang Wenxuan's expression turned slightly uneasy.
"Just spit it out if you have something to say, why sneak around like some sly woman!"
His boss's voice boomed, cursing loudly once more.
Wang Wenxuan sighed and quickly whispered a few words in a low voice.
One second the boss was all imposing, the next, his eyes fell on the quiet Yu Sheng. His eyes, bright as light bulbs, twinkled with dazzling light.
"Really?"
"That impressive?"
He was somewhat skeptical and looked at Wang Wenxuan for confirmation once again.
Wang Wenxuan nodded affirmatively.
"Damn!"
"This guy is a gold mine."
Cursing under his breath, the boss shoved Wang Wenxuan aside, his face twisting into various expressions.
One moment he seemed to be crying, the next furious, and then like he might kill someone...
Even Yu Sheng was a bit lost.
Why was this big oaf making faces at him?
"Hello, my name is Chen Yimo!"
He hesitated at first, looking earnestly at Yu Sheng, then nervously turned to Wang Wenxuan and kicked him in the rear: "Quick, look, am I smiling?"
Wang Wenxuan, not quite steady on his feet, fell to the ground and looked up at his boss, who was elegant in name but dominant in personality. It took him a long while to reluctantly compliment: "Boss, your smile is really charming."
"That's good!"
Chen Yimo nodded in satisfaction, then turned back to Yu Sheng, speaking in what he thought was his gentlest tone: "Brother Yu, I won’t say much!"
"If you ever feel wronged in Baichun, just tell me!"
"I'll send a battalion to sort it out for you."
"Of course..."

"And, if you have any deals in the future, don’t forget about your brother here."
Saying this, Chen Yimo raised his hand, which was as large as a bear's paw, and slapped it towards Yu Sheng's shoulder.
If one were just to look at Chen Yimo's fierce face and actions without hearing him speak, they might think this man... was about to commit murder.
Yu Sheng calmly stepped back: "I don't like fighting."
"But I do like making money."
His gaze was sincere and earnest.
Exceptionally resolute.
"Don't worry, brother's got this. If I can't get the money today, I’ll take your surname."
Chen Yimo thumped his chest, making a clanging sound.
With the same tone and gestures as Wang Wenxuan, Yu Sheng grew even more silent.
He seemed... a bit hasty.
Should have come alone.
There might still have been a chance to get the money.
"An-Jie1, will these Reserve Forces idiots mess up our plan..."
One of the team members took a couple of steps forward, whispering as if he was a mosquito.
An Xin still looked pitiful, squeezing the words through her teeth in a low voice: "Don't do anything rash, just ignore them, grab the money, and leave. Whether our squad can upgrade our equipment depends on today."
The group's expressions turned serious as they maintained a gloomy mood.
Meanwhile, Wang Wenxuan got up from the ground, walked over to An Xin with his hands behind his back like an old man, and sat down next to her.
"An, what brings such a beautiful lady over here today?"
"Wow."
"Must say, your acting deserves some praise. As if I wouldn't show up."
Wang Wenxuan, like a cunning fox, even flashed An Xin's signature sweet smile.
His eyes squinted into crescent moons.
However, this expression on him was awkward and even a bit nauseating.
"I can guarantee, if you prevent me from making money, in Baichun, it's either you or me."
An Xin still had a sobbing tone, her eyes brimming with tears and a look of confusion as she stared at Wang Wenxuan, yet her words were chillingly cold.
Wang Wenxuan’s face showed no fear, still with that rascal’s grin, and he casually raised four fingers towards An Xin.
An Xin, with her back to the onlooking crowd, shook her head slightly.
She raised two fingers.
Wang Wenxuan snickered, withdrew one finger, leaving three.
An Xin nodded.
Only then did Wang Wenxuan crack a smile: "Sorry, beautiful, got the wrong person."
"You're already so pitiful, and here I am making trouble, that’s terrible of me."
He shook his head as if to scold himself and then retreated back to Chen Yimo’s side.
At this moment, a Clerk and a middle-aged man in a suit were approaching quickly from a distance. The Clerk looked anxious, continuously talking about something.
"Hey!"
"Take care of me first!"
"Didn't you hear what my soldiers said?"
"I'm down to my last breath!"
"If you don't save me now, I'm going to die!"
Chen Yimo stepped directly in front of the two men, like a towering wall, his voice booming like thunder.
The three cloud pattern medals on his shoulder were a testament to his achievements.
Each medal represented blood and sacrifice and could justifiably declare, "I have bled for humanity; I am a hero!"
And no one could argue with that.
Yet, here was this heroic figure, acting like a thug, playing the fool.
You’re as strong as an ox!
And you're telling me...
You're down to just your head?
Next time just say you're ready to rob us, might make it clearer and easier to understand!
